Matthew Reiter ist Co-Leiter den Tätigkeitsbereich Prozessführung bei Bär & Karrer und ist auf Prozessführung und Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit spezialisiert. Er hat Erfahrung in einer breiten Palette von Verfahren vor staatlichen Gerichten und Behörden (einschliesslich Strafuntersuchungen und Fällen von Wirtschaftskriminalität, Vollstreckungsverfahren und internationaler Rechtshilfe), ist aber vorwiegend im Bereich internationaler handels- und wirtschaftsrechtlicher Fälle tätig.
Matthew Reiter hat Klienten in zahlreichen nationalen und internationalen Schiedsfällen vertreten, sowohl in Ad hoc- wie auch in institutionellen Verfahren (primär ICC, Zürcher Handelskammer/Swiss Rules), insbesondere in Bezug auf Joint Ventures, Aktionärbindungsverträge, grosse Werkverträge, M&A-Transaktionen und Lieferverträge. Zu den jüngsten Höhepunkten zählt die erfolgreiche Verteidigung der EnBW in einem Schiedsverfahren betreffend die Thermoselect-Technologie (Streitwert CHF 1 Mrd.).
