Bär & Karrer Advises the Sellers on the
Sale of Digital Heaven to RM Equity
Partners
The founders of Digital Heaven GmbH, a Swiss e-commerce company specializing in vapes and e-cigarettes, have sold all shares in the company to RM Equity Partners (RMEP) in a sale process led by Everstride. The acquisition expands RMEP’s direct-to-consumer activities and complements its portfolio of online marketplaces and consumer apps.
Through its two online shops, Digital Heaven serves more than 100,000 customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. With RMEP’s support, the company plans to further expand its online shops, product range, logistics and customer service. The three founders will support the handover to the new management team and remain involved at a strategic level.
Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor to the sellers in this transaction. The team was led by Raphael Annasohn and included Julian Lindt, Dimitry Bölsterli and Chiara Condello (all M&A), Martin Leu (Tax), Faton Aliu, Tim Salz and Steven Gscheider (all Financing), as well as Laura Widmer and Marc Paronitti (both Employment).
