Martin P. Werner

Martin P. Werner advises on all aspects of Swiss and European competition law, with a particular focus on investigations, transactions and complex cross-border regulatory matters. He represents clients before the Swiss competition authorities and courts and coordinates merger control and FDI filings for multijurisdictional transactions. Martin also advises on compliance programs, distribution systems, cooperation projects, licensing agreements, dawn raids and internal investigations.

Since 2020, Martin has served as Research Coordinator for Digitalization at the Centre for Intellectual Property and Competition Law (CIPCO) at the University of Zurich.

In 2023, Martin was named a "Rising Star" by The Legal 500 and in 2024, 2025 and 2026 as a "Leading Associate" in the field of competition law. He is also listed in The Leading 500 in the field of competition law.
