Bär & Karrer Advises Cinven on the Sale of SLV

Cinven, a leading European private equity firm, announced the sale of SLV Group by funds advised by Cinven. The buyers are private equity funds advised by Ardian, a private equity firm based in Paris. SLV was founded in 1979 and is a German-headquartered provider of residential and technical lighting.

Bär & Karrer acted as Swiss legal advisor to Cinven in this transaction. The team included Christoph Neeracher, Luca Jagmetti and Beda Kaufmann (all M&A), Till Spillmann and Adrian Koller (both Financing), Markus Wang and Jonas Bornhauser (both IP) as well as Ruth Bloch-Riemer (Social Security).
