Bär & Karrer Advises Wisecap on the
Strategic Acquisition of Corvaglia
Closures Eschlikon

Wisecap, a leading manufacturer of plastic caps and closures for the beverage industry based in Piacenza, Italy, has entered into a purchase agreement to acquire Corvaglia Closures Eschlikon, a business of the Corvaglia Group. The Corvaglia Group has long-standing expertise in closure design and mould making in the production of plastic caps. As part of the transaction, the Corvaglia Group is expected to take a minority stake in Wisecap.

Bär & Karrer is acting as legal advisor to Wisecap in this transaction. The team is led by Raphael Annasohn and includes Julian Lindt and Katarina Skoric (all M&A), Laura Widmer and Sandra Schaffner (both Employment), Markus Wang and Christine Schweikard (both IP), as well as Christian Kunz and Ferdinand Rombach (both Data Protection).
