Bär & Karrer advises Inter IKEA Group in connection with its participation in the Series A financing round of Seprify AG. Seprify, the Swiss bio-materials company develops high-performance cellulose-based ingredients for industrial applications. The financing supports the transition of Seprify's cellulose platform from pilot validation into procurement-ready industrial supply.

Inter IKEA Group is the group of companies that connects IKEA franchisees with range development and suppliers, and aligns the overall IKEA strategic direction.

Bär & Karrer acts as legal advisor to Inter IKEA Group in this transaction. The team included Luca Jagmetti, Marlene Lienau Schindler and Ben Tschigg (all M&A/Corporate), Nicola Schön (Employment), and Mani Reinert and Martin P. Werner (both Competition & Antitrust).
