Cesare Jermini has extensive experience in international and domestic arbitration, in which he specialises, as well as in court litigation. He regularly acts as a party counsel in domestic and international arbitration proceedings, as well as before State Courts (in civil, criminal and administrative matters).
Cesare Jermini is often appointed as chairman, sole arbitrator and co-arbitrator in international and domestic arbitration proceedings, conducted under the ICC Rules, Swiss Rules, Rules of the Camera Arbitrale Milano, DIS Rules, UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules and in ad hoc proceedings.
He is regularly invited to speak at international conferences.
He also advises clients in commercial and company law, private international law, joint ventures, transportation, labour, administrative, real estate and inheritance law.
Cesare Jermini holds a law degree (Dr. iur.) from the University of Zurich and a master's degree (LL.M.) from Columbia University, New York.
He sits on the board of ASA (Swiss Arbitration Association) and has been a member of the editorial board of the ASA Bulletin (Kluwer) since 2001. He is also a member of the Court of the Swiss Arbitration Centre, administering arbitration proceedings under the Swiss Rules and member of the international and domestic panels of arbitrators of several arbitral institutions.
Cesare is admitted to the Swiss Bar and is also a Notary Public (Canton Ticino). He speaks and works in Italian, German, English and French.
