SK Capital Partners und Clariant vollziehen die Carve-out Transaktion von Clariant's Textilchemikalien, Papierspezialitäten und Emulsionen Geschäft

SK Capital Partners, a US-based private equity firm focused on the specialty chemicals sector, has closed its previously announced acquisition of Clariant's business units textile chemicals, paper chemicals and emulsions. This highly complex transaction combined share and asset carve-outs in over 35 jurisdictions around the globe.

The new organization, which operates under the name Archroma, will be a world-leading supplier of products and solutions to the textile, paper, adhesives, and coating industries with revenues of approximately CHF 1.2 billion, 25 global manufacturing facilities, and approximately 3,000 employees. The organization will be headquartered in Switzerland and its Textile Specialties, Paper Solutions and Emulsions Products businesses will be managed, as they are today, from Singapore, Switzerland and Brazil respectively.
