Frédéric Bétrisey gave his annual course on the financing of acquisitions in the framework of a block course module of the University of Fribourg, for students at master level, on contracts and guarantees, lead by Professors Pichonnaz and Werro. The course involved an introductory presentation, the discussion of a case study and a mock negotiation of a financing agreement. The course particularly addresses the Swiss law capital maintenance rules and their impact on the drafting of acquisition financing documentation.
