It explores the commercial use of data assets, addressing data privacy requirements under the FADP and the GDPR, as well as strategies for data valuation and data balance sheet accounting. The lecture also examines anonymization and pseudonymization techniques critical for lawful data processing and monetization. Additionally, it covers the legal and regulatory landscape for AI, including Switzerland's AI strategy and the EU AI Act with its risk-based approach. Practical guidance on AI governance, data quality, and compliance with FINMA regulations rounds out the lecture.
