Using a realistic case study, the workshop examined the scope of the right of access under Art. 25 of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the limits of transparency when trade secrets and third-party interests are at stake, and the permissibility of performance monitoring and automated evaluation systems in the workplace. Participants gained practical solutions for handling employee data in a data protection-compliant manner
