Swiss Re Places CHF 320,000,000 Perpetual Subordinated Notes with Stock Settlement

Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd successfully placed CHF 320,000,000 Perpetual Subordinated Notes with Stock Settlement (the "Notes"). The Notes provide for an innovative stock settlement any time at market or at a floor price if the minimum solvency margin has been breached. BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA, Credit Suisse AG, Deutsche Bank AG London Branch, acting through Deutsche Bank AG Zurich Branch, and UBS Investment Bank acted as joint lead managers and bookrunners and The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, Edinburgh, Zurich Branch, and UniCredit Bank AG, Munich, Zurich Branch, as co-managers.
