Bär & Karrer advises the City of
Bellinzona on its first-ever bond
issuance

On 10 October 2024, the City of Bellinzona successfully completed its inaugural issuance of CHF 125 million 1.05 percent bonds due 2035. The bonds have been listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. Bank Vontobel AG was the sole lead manager for the transaction.

Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor to the City of Bellinzona throughout the whole process. Andrea Ziswiler (Capital Markets) led the team, which included Matthias Bizzarro and Cyrill Diefenbacher (both Tax).
