CONMEBOL Before Swiss Federal Supreme

Bär & Karrer successfully represented Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol – CONMEBOL before the Swiss Federal Supreme Court, by securing the dismissal of a challenge against an international arbitral award by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), which had awarded CONMEBOL an amount of USD 10 million for contractual breaches.

Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor of CONMEBOL. The team included Alexandra Johnson, Luca Tarzia and Nadia Smahi (all Arbitration).
