Daniel Bader is a Partner at Bär & Karrer and Co-Head of the Tax Department as well as of the office in St. Moritz.

With his many years of experience, he supports Swiss and international private clients in complex legal and tax matters. His advisory approach includes not only tax law and tax planning, but also the legal structuring of assets and succession.

Daniel Bader specialises in the comprehensive support of wealthy private individuals. This includes topics such as inheritance and succession planning, international estate planning, wealth structuring as well as the legal and tax support of private and business activities. He has profound expertise in the areas of trusts, cross-border wealth planning and navigating different legal systems.

He regularly appears as a speaker at national and international conferences on topics related to private clients, tax law and wealth planning and is involved as a board member in family offices. Daniel Bader is President of the European Region of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) as well as a member of the Supervisory Board of the IFA. He is an International Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
