Bär & Karrer Partner Appointed
President of the IFA European Region

At the Annual Congress of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) in Lisbon, Bär & Karrer Partner Daniel Bader was appointed President of the IFA European Region. He takes over the role of his predecessors Guglielmo Maisto and Daniel Gutmann.

Daniel Bader co-heads the tax practice at Bär & Karrer and has longstanding expertise in national and international tax planning for individuals and corporate clients. He has been engaged in IFA activities since 2005 and previously served as Secretary and President of the Swiss Branch.

The International Fiscal Association (IFA) is a non-governmental and non-sectoral international organisation dealing with fiscal matters. IFA is a neutral, independent, non-lobby organisation and as such the only global network of its kind. As a non-profit organisation, IFA provides a neutral and independent platform where representatives of all professions and interests can meet and discuss international tax issues.
