The lecture provides an insight into the technical, legal, and regulatory fundamentals of data analysis, data monetization, and artificial intelligence. Current developments in data protection, data evaluation, and the regulation of AI systems (including the EU AI Act, and Swiss initiatives) are presented. Participants receive practical recommendations for the legally compliant handling of data and AI.
