Fluxys Buys Stake in Trans Adriatic
Pipeline

Fluxys, the Belgian gas transmission system operator, acquired a 16% stake in the Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG ("TAP"). TAP is of high strategic importance for the European energy agenda. TAP will transport natural gas from the giant Shah Deniz II field in Azerbaijan, via Greece and Albania, and across the Adriatic Sea to Southern Italy, and further to the most attractive gas markets in Western Europe.
