Bär & Karrer Advises Buyers on the Acquisition of Berenberg Bank

A group of shareholders including the entrepreneurs Adrian and Andreas Keller, Michael Pieper, Andreas Jacobs as well as Claus-G. Budelmann have acquired, together with the current management, a majority stake in Berenberg Bank (Schweiz) AG from Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG.

Bär & Karrer acts as legal advisor to the Buyers. The team includes Rolf Watter, Daniel Küpfer and Matthias Tanner (M&A/Corporate), Rashid Bahar, Martin Peyer and Kerstin Arnesson (Regulatory) as well as Peter Reinarz (Tax) and Mani Reinert (Competition).
