Bär & Karrer Advises Dentsu Aegis Network on the Acquisition of Namics

Dentsu Aegis Network (the network of agencies owned by Dentsu Inc.) has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement with the current shareholders to acquire the entire share capital of Namics AG. Namics is a leading full-service digital agency in Switzerland and Germany providing strategic consulting, concept development and creative marketing services as well as technical implementation. Following the acquisition, which is subject to approval from the German competition authority, the company and its 550 digital specialists will become part of Merkle, one of the Dentsu Aegis Network agencies.

Bär & Karrer acts as legal advisor to Dentsu Aegis Network in this transaction. The team includes Martin Anderson, Antonio Calvo, Nina Sauerwein (all M&A), Christoph Suter (Tax) as well as Jonas Bornhauser (IP/IT).
