Bär & Karrer Advises Amadeus Capital on
its Acquisition of Amasus Investment's
Activities in Zurich

Amadeus Capital SA, a Geneva-based reference player in the wealth and asset management industry since more than 40 years, has announced the acquisition of the activities of Amasus Investment AG, a well-established wealth management company in Zurich, further strengthening its strategic footprint in the Swiss market. Following the approval of the transaction by FINMA, all Amasus clients and employees have joined Amadeus Capital, ensuring a seamless integration into the enlarged company, now offering its wealth and asset management services in the two main financial centers of Switzerland.

Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor to Amadeus Capital SA on all corporate, regulatory and contractual aspects of the transaction, in close coordination with the relevant authorities. The team was led by Martin Anderson and included Sacha Kanoff (both M&A and Banking), Frédéric Bétrisey (Banking) and Christoph Suter (Tax).
