Bär & Karrer Advises Cornèr Bank on
the Acquisition of a Minority Stake of
Finpromotion

Cornèr Bank Ltd. acquired a 30% stake, in the Finpromotion Group, with an option to increase the share in the future. The Finpromotion Group has been specialising in private, corporate and institutional asset management since 1972. This major operation will allow the two players on the Lugano financial scene to share and strengthen their respective expertise in private banking.

Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor to Cornèr Bank in this transaction. The team consisted of Massimo Vanotti and Sandro Gaggini (both M&A and Corporate).
