History

Bär & Karrer was founded in 1969, out of a practice dating back to 1938. It is now a firm with over 120 lawyers.

Our head office is in Zurich. Further offices were opened in Lugano in 1992, Zug in 1995 and Geneva in 2000.

Bär & Karrer has been operating as a corporation (under the name "Bär & Karrer AG") since September 2007 in Zurich, Lugano, Zug and since July 2008 in Geneva. For details regarding the board of directors of Bär & Karrer please click here.
